Sophie Burzynski Crowned Miss Alabama USA 2023
Aspiring Auburn student takes the crown

Sophie Burzynski, a 22-year-old Auburn University student, was crowned Miss Alabama USA 2023 on January 28, 2023, at the pageant finals in Auburn, Alabama.
Burzynski, who is double majoring in communications and public relations, will now represent Alabama at the Miss USA pageant later this year.
The Miss Alabama USA pageant is a preliminary competition for the Miss USA pageant, which is held annually to select the representative for the United States in the Miss Universe pageant.
Thirty-seven women from around the state competed for the title of Miss Alabama USA 2023. Burzynski was crowned by the outgoing Miss Alabama USA, Katelyn Vinson.
Also crowned this weekend was Ava LeBlanc, who won the Miss Alabama Teen USA pageant.
